BYU University Conference

Dave and I get a lot of opportunities to enjoy beautiful music, beautiful speeches, and uplifting conferences.  This year for the University Conference, there was a beautiful performance by the Chamber Orchestra and ballroom dancers as well as this song "Savior, Redeemer of my Soul".  So uplifting, and the quality of performances at this university is astounding.  Also, Pres. Kevin Worthen spork on the "value" of an education at BYU.  Not just the monetary value, but the values that can be attained by adding a spiritual and religious aspect.  BYU is fortunate to teach the way they do.  And Elder Renlund spoke on making sure that the employees of BYU are pointing the students to the Savior through actions, beliefs, attitude, etc.  We are teaching them how to follow Him.  It is more than a job, it is a sacred responsibility.  I felt as though this extends to me, even though I am not an employee anymore.  And I feel like this is important for me to do with anyone I come in contact with.  The gathering of Israel happens because of his believers and followers.  I AM A BELIEVER AND A FOLLOWER, and I hope people can see that through the way I live.
