We flew out to Santa Cruz to see the Hulmes! They had a big event at Dan's Orthodontic practice and we watched Hazel and Ollie while they introduced themselves to the community! It was so nice to be there! We left Wednesday, and on Friday, my dad flew alone to meet us! He made it! He even took an Uber (that I arranged). It worked out, and I was worried but not too worried. Lisa Gordon was so kind to take him to the airport, and get him settled with a wheelchair service. We love that he made it. We got him a hotel to stay at because there wasn't another bed at the Hulmes. He did great and even got two free breakfasts! We went to the ocean, a lovely dinner, and watched the BYU vs Arizona State football game (which BYU won!). We are waiting at the airport for our delayed plane, so hopefully we will get home. All in all it was a wonderful trip!
