Little Hazel Jeanne was born! Dave and I knew she was coming, so we drove to CA to be with her family until the big day. We didn't know her name until after she was 2 days old! I love it. Jeanne is my middle name, and Hazel is Dan's great-grandmother's middle name. It also means "God sees us". And God did see us all in her arrival! Dan's grandmother also told him that her mother (who's middle name is Hazel) had the exact same birthday! And also, she had a daughter that she named Hazel who died as a child.). It seems as though that name was meant to be!
Diana was induced, and spent 27 hours waiting. Then she received an epidural. Then she quickly progressed to a 5, and in 15 minutes a 10! The epidural was not working fully, and she wanted it to be fixed, but there was no time, and in 11 minutes she got her sweet little Hazel here safe and sound. She seemed to heal quickly and even felt a sort of euphoria! What a wonderful experience for her.
We got to stay for 2 weeks with their family, and it was heavenly. I felt like there were other spirits in the home that accompanied her. That will probably not last long, but it was such a lift to me. I know it was to everyone in the home. Such a sacred time.
I hope she is a strong young woman and that she will always follow the Lord.
