Time well spent

I have been grateful for extra time to finish things that take time.  During this time of staying home and avoiding the COVID-19 virus, I have been able to read more from the scriptures, listen to conference talks, and ponder more.  I have done more puzzles, movies, and cleaning, too.  It has been wonderful to see what others have done.

My favorite project I have done is edit and print out my father's autobiography/journal.

I also helped my father-in-law locate his accordion that he played as a boy!

Dave has done some Family Tree App searching!

And my sweet neighbor, Sherry, has handpainted several slates (she has saved from a trip to England from a chapel her ancestors attended).  She painted the very chapel on the slates and will give them for Christmas to her children and grandchildren.  I am so amazed by this project!

I have loved going on walks and taking pictures of lovely flowers and other things that make me happy.  I have even posted a few on Instagram.

These projects are all of varying degrees of difficulty and time.  I don't think that matters.  I believe that as we find joy around us through our creativity and resourcefulness, we will be blessed.
