We are at the end of our first round of Ward Conferences in the YSA Stake.  Each ward has been wonderful and unique.  We have grown to love all those we are serving.  12 wards is many!  Our last ward is the 221st ward, and Bishop Ika has been a wonderfully kind man to us.  I know that the Polynesian people are so respectful of authority and especially so in the church.  We attended a dance with a performance of Hawaiian, Tongan, and Samoan dances in the midst of the YSAs dancing together.  It was wonderful.  We were given leis (you see Dave's in the photo), and we were served and loved as though we were celebrities.  As I said to Bishop Ika when we were leaving and he was making sure we made it all the way to our car, it isn't Dave and Margaret that they are doing this for, it is the office of Stake President, and the Lord's representatives.  It made us feel like being better people because of the trust the Lord and these sweet people have in us.  I should do the same for my leaders who represent the Lord.  I am learning so much from this opportunity to serve.  People are good.
