The account of Stephen in Acts is remarkable.  He taught that Moses wasn't believed and rejected, but now that everyone believed Moses and followed his law, Jesus wasn't believed, and was actually rejected and crucified.  And then Stephen was stoned for teaching it.

I hope I am open to the Spirit and won't miss truth when it is taught to me.  I can see the power of worldly views, and how careful I need to be not to get caught up in popular sentiment and fear at the expense of the truth.  I know our prophet is right when he stated that we will not be able to keep our testimonies without the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost.  I am trying to do things that will bring that spirit into my life as much as possible.
