How can a single flower bring me such a thrill?  It made me stop on my walk and take a picture!  I think each one of us has the ability to bring joy to another.  I'm sure we don't even know when we have done so, but we certainly know when someone else has done it to us.  Maybe the important thing is to notice others, and not worry if we are noticed.

One person who has made a sweet impression on me is my dear neighbor.  After losing her husband when they were ready to leave as mission presidents, you could think she would be bitter.  However, she has just gotten in and served others.  She has had a few difficulties along the way, and has even had to ask for help (I feel so badly I didn't see her needs before she needed to ask).  But she is not bitter.  She appreciates everything that goes well.  She is concerned with those who may feel left out.  She relishes in spiritual experiences.  She soaks up any time I cross the street to visit with her--you would think she was waiting for me to come!  She is this lovely sunflower in my life.
