This has been a tumultuous time for our country and our world. I believe COVID 19 has affected everyone. And not just as an illness. Quarantining, worrying, loved ones infected, plans canceled, political unrest, anger, dealing with children and schooling and work changes. I think the world is in commotion.
Today, M. Russell Ballard's talk inspired me to pray for my own INSPIRATION, the INSPIRATION of our leaders (church, nation, and other), and to INSPIRE others through forgiveness and love. I believe I need to pray to be led as to what to think, do and say each day. I need that focus daily. I also believe our leaders need every prayer possible to know how to carry on and what paths to take. Inspiring others is tricky, because we don't control others and how they feel about us. So I think the loving and forgiving part is critical. This we can do freely. Also, I think repenting when we mess up in these areas is so important. I raised my voice to my dad yesterday as we thought we had lost all his history on the computer. I felt horrible all day. He never has raised his voice to me at all that I can remember. I need to follow his example. He says he had a bad experience with anger and knows that is the wrong path. I hope I can do better.
I have definitely decided to pray for INSPIRATION!
