This morning on my walk, I listened to our Prophet's, Russell M. Nelson's talk last April, Come Follow Me. It is very clear and direct, and yet very loving. I feel like it goes along with our Come Follow Me Study program (coincidence that they have the same title!). The Lord's servants sometimes need to say hard things to us, yet it is with love and concern for our well being. Would we let someone stand in the middle of a freeway without calling out for them to "Watch Out!"? Would they be offended that we didn't trust them, or that we were overly worried, that they didn't understand how hard it is, or that we really didn't know what we were talking about?
When my faith leads me to follow the prophet, I need to HEED his counsel. As difficult as it is, it is truth. I will recommit myself to honor my own covenants and encourage others to make and keep them.
