I haven't posted for almost 2 years, and I have felt a need to journal, so I think I will try to make this my journal, sprinkled with a few photos.
It is mother's day, always an emotional day for many of us. I love my own dear mother. I cherish and respect my grandmothers. I am grateful for all who "mothered" me. I am lucky. Many cared for me, and showed me a better way by their examples. I have always sought for women who could care about me and lift me to be better. That has been a blessing to seek out that type of friend in my life. And there are too many to name.
I am grateful to be a mother. Never can do enough to satisfy myself, but I think I am letting go of that and just being grateful for the opportunity. Grandmothering is good too! I learn so much from my role as mom and grandma. And I have enjoyed feeling like I have helped others that aren't my own, too. I always hope to be known as a woman of faith, and I am working on that.
